Paul H. Johnson Sorry To Hear January 5, 2011

Was sorry to hear of Carroll's passing.  I was unaware of this until looking on line and found he had passed last March.  He was a wonderful organ teacher and I was a student of his for several years when he was at Byerly Music.  My mother had known him.  Now he is at the great console!

Mary Dill A Warm Presence March 20, 2010

My deepest sympathy to Leslie and all of the family. I was so sad to learn of
Carroll's death. He has been such a warm presence with us at Westminster
Church and will be sorely missed. He always had a twinkle in his eye and a dry wit that made him fun to be around.

I am out of the city and will be unable to attend his services

Keith, Dee and Family Friends from Britain March 20, 2010

We were so sorry to receive the news that our dear friend Carroll had passed away. Keith & I, including our family, had a very special friendship with Carroll and his late wife Wanda. In 1967 the Caterpillar Company in Peoria (where Wanda worked) organized a special event, whereby Caterpillar Ltd American employees were introduced to Caterpillar employees in Britain. Letters passed between the Green's and the Arnold's for over a year and finally, in July 1968, a chartered plane landed in Peoria, with great excitment British and American families met for the 1st time.
Our wonderful friendship with Wanda and Carroll, including their daughter Leslie, has continued to grow. We have visited them in Peoria and they over in England with us. We have so many happy and precious memories. We always exchanged gifts at Christmas, which are displayed around our house, an ever present reminder of our long and close friendship.
Carroll was a very special person and will be missed and remembered by all who knew him. Rest in peace Carroll with your beloved Wanda.

Maggie Duncan Angel of Music March 15, 2010

When I close my eyes, I can just imagine that Carroll is showing St. Michael and all the other Angels how to play that piano in heaven and Wanda is just sitting there smiling.  How happy they must be and how proud they are of you Leslie and Mike and your family. What wonderful parents you were blessed with and wonderful, loving grandparents.  God be with you always.

I love you all.

Maggie
